"GO ARE YOU DELICIOUS? The comedy troupe Dynamite Kablammo serves up wit and talent in a performance that opens on a note of horror. The protagonist (actor/director Greg Kaczynski) in an Edgar Allan Poe-like episode attempts to seal up his companion (Dane Biren) behind a layer of bricks; a moment later, said companion pops up out of a surprise window announcing his discovery of a nightclub — bump-'n'-grind music blasts, drunk horny girls call out to him. The series of sketches that follows continues to surprise. The troupe rattles the audience with tummy-shaking humor: A swashbuckling pirate asserts, "A fish fucked a rock and that's how turtles came to be"; a comedian (Dana DeRuyck) hires an "insecurity" guard to remind her of her shortcomings so she can use the material; things get a little hairy, literally, when a girl (DeRuyck) starts taking hormones and her boyfriend (Matt DeNoto) has to deal. There's even an unforgettable, perverse love ballad about divorce. A number of scenes inevitably dip into sitcom land, but with such a delectable array of fast-moving sketches, the show remains savory. Among the fine cast, standouts Biren, DeNoto and DeRuyck prove to be the kind of folks you want to be your b.f.f., to sit on your couch and make you laugh. Kaczynski's dynamic directing provides swift pacing, and sound/tech maestro Adam Neubauer puts the "ammo" in Dynamite Kablammo."

2008, Here We Come!
Wow, we kinda dropped the ball on keeping this news site up to date, but, you know, if more of you read it and shit, we'd take better care of it. Oh, never mind, it's a vicious circle.
Regardless, DK tied up 2007 in a huge way with our 3-day only Thanksgiving Weekend Best Of Spectacular. The people came out and had a good time while we played all of the favorite songs, returned to our greatest sketch hits - Spitbaby, The Tick, Bloodbath the Clown, Blind Cop, Bums... it was a good good time had by all.
But now, here we are in the death throes of this grand year.
We come bearing fantastic news: Dynamite Kablammo's most ambitious show yet will be hitting the ZJU January 15th and run Tuesday nights at 8:30pm. I can't divulge any details YET, but I will tell you there will be some amazing shit going down in that little North Hollywood theater at the top pf the new year. Seriously. Amazing. Blow your mind. And I am not afraid to raise expectations... we read the scripts this morning (Sunday), and yes, you must see this show.

Dynamite Kablammo MySpace Gone Missing
Yikes! Apparently MySpace doesn't like the DK as our MySpace page has gone missing. We've emailed the powers that be, but knowing MySpace, we don't expect to hear anything back for about three months. In the meantime, we've created an all new MySpace page which is actually a Comedy Page (which we've wanted anyway) - check us out here: http://www.myspace.com/dkablammo
Oh yeah, and friend us!

NoHo Arts Festival
Today, October 6th, Dynamite Kablammo donated a show to the North Hollywood Arts Festival. We simply remounted our most recent show and had a HUGE audience. The biggest of our run! This was possibly helped by a printing of our picture in the Daily News! Hooray! DK is everywhere, bitches! You must succumb.
